Badam (Almond) Halwa

Badaam halwa is one of the quickest and easiest dishes to make. It's considered as one of the best Indian desserts and is usually a part of all special meals. The aroma and taste of it enhanced by Desi ghee used in it. Ghee holds a special place as until you see ghee floating on top the halwa is not rich enough.
Ingredients
½ cup Almonds (Badaam)
¼ cup Milk
1 ½ tbsp Amrutam Desi Cow Ghee
¼ cup Sugar
2 tbsp Saffron Milk
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
Few chopped Dry Fruits
Preparation

Soak ½ cup almonds for 3 to 4 hours or overnight and peel its skin.

Add ¼ cup milk and the peeled badaam in a blender, grind to a smooth paste, and transfer the paste into a large pan (kadai).

Add one tbsp of Amrutam Desi cow ghee and saute for a minute on low to medium flame.

Add ¼ cup sugar and saute continuously till the sugar dissolves completely.

Now, add 2 tbsp saffron milk and stir, keeping the flame on low-medium, till the mixture thickens.

Add the remaining portion of AmrutamDesi cow ghee and stir till the mixture separates the pan and ghee oozes out from sides.

Add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
Notes:

To prepare saffron milk, soak a few threads of saffron in 2 tbsp of warm milk for 10 minutes.

Ready saffron milk available at your nearest store will work, too.

For an enhanced flavour, just add another tbsp of saffron milk.
